1. MATERIALS AND COMPOSITION
Materials and Tools:
• White Gesso
• Plastic Squeezable Bottles
• Mungyo Watercolor or similar
• Canson Montval 300gsm Watercolour Paper or similar
• Acrylic ink – Orange Flame, Shimmering Gold or any other metal paints
• Prussian Blue, Acrylic Paint
• Brushes
• Masking tape
• Pencil
Creating the Composition:
- Focus on simplicity and balance with minimal, clear lines and fewer details.
- The subject: two Monterey fish depicted in a semi-abstract, decorative style emphasizing body shape, tail, and fins.
- Incorporate dynamic circular movement to evoke life and energy, inspired by yin-yang harmony.
- Sketch lightly by eye and don’t stress over perfection — imperfections can add charm and be adjusted later with paint.
Use the sketch as a foundation for expressive storytelling, reflecting themes of playfulness, vitality, and the beauty of nature.
